you why. In a call center placing orders from different companies. I just got this job mid march, day before my bday. I already hate it. Yes it pays bills, but adds to my stress. Not my first time in customer service. I left it long time ago. Not much option here, most jobs...

    It'S 5 O'Clock Somewhere....

Literally my job is making me an alcoholic.... and dealing with life and death and very bad situations are not even causing me to drink... It's upper management and their lack of managing anything. Ugh....

    Well it was stressful today.

Had a huge layoff and I lost some good coworkers/friends. I also don't think this will be the last of the layoffs....2015 is going to be a rough year for the energy sector.

    Stressed And Fraggled

I am a 911 dispatcher on night shift. I can't tell all my stories. Sometimes that is my personal pain I have to keep. I can't see myself doing anything else either.  It's a bittersweet situation. The calls proceed over all calls. You have to have certification for it. Experience...

I have been working customer service in a

low-cost, fast-paced environment for two years now. You never get used to it. Today, after a woman got in my face, I just walked out. I'm in the middle of a two-weeks' notice, and I just can't deal w/ that **** today. I might go back tomorrow and finish out my notice, but there...

    Please Be Quiet.

I am a lunch-aide for almost 400 students. Everyday I listen to them yell, scream. complain and  drive me crazy with their ill manners. Not one of them knows what please or thank you means. Its a shame that parents are not teaching their children to be kind and courteous...

    Demands At Work

At the company I work for, it seems that in order to stay employed for more than 2 years it is necessary to put your career before everything else. I do not want to do this, but will find it difficult to lose the salary and oppurtunities the company provides. (First job after...

Stress, But I Had To Know If I Could Survive

I work for a medium sized company. I like the job, but it took me four very long years to get to the point that I don't feel completely traumatized to go to work. I just got to the point that I am no longer micromanaged, and I don't cringe everytime someone yells at me. I...
