I Have a Vivid Imagination

Personal Stories, Advice, and Support 2,853 People

My imagination makes life more interesting.

It doesn't seem as boring and bland. It gives me multiple perspectives. It allows me to determine possible outcomes, then act accordingly. To me, imagination is a treasure to be cherished and nurtured.

Even the smallest of sensations can inspire

wondrous imaginings. There are ideas for other worlds in simple, everyday things and people. You just have to realize they are there.

Sleep has always eluded me due to insomnia.

but when you start to day dream about a person or activity and it becomes so real to that it finally goes into your head as you dream that when you wake up you wish it was real or wander if your still dreaming.

    Some people tend to assume

that I'm on some kind of drug, or that I'm high, because of how strange my imagination is. All of the sudden I'd just randomly start thinking about something that no one else would ever really come up with, some whacked out story, or some weird picture or situation, out of...

    I guess that's why I am a good writer.

I can concoct my own world in my head and spill it out onto the paper and see what happens.

    Imagination is a gift

that instills inspiration in us all. It stirs the mind, comforts the heart and nourishes the soul. It can take us on incredible journeys to far away places and different times, past, present and future. There are no limits when one can imagine. It is something dreamers do quite...

    The addiction first started out

as comics when I was in middle school. I'd draw them based on my own imagination. There was this girl named Cameron. She was everything I wanted to be. She is me, but is capable of doing all of the things that are not in my reach right now. She met the perfect guy, named Jaden...
