Technically everyone has an accent to everyone

else but I have a Scottish accent that people seem to like which I hate, for example Youtuber Alfie Deyes said the Scottish accent is really strong and nice. I hate my accent I wish I had an English or any American accent ( I understand it's different depending on the state)

    I have a Canadian accent,

and apparently it's pretty noticeable because everyone automatically guesses I'm from up north. And no, I do not say "aboot" haha.

but I am in the U.S to study. I know people talk about my accent when I'm not around. I think it's rude to talk badly about people when they can't control it. It makes me feel alone and bad about myself.
