Has anyone ever done an ultimatium that actually worked in the long run?  If so, what was it?  I had told him (since he was in my house and I didn't think I could legally make him leave) that I would leave the house if he wouldn't and live with my aunt--I would let me home go into foreclosure if I had to.  That is how desperate I am.  Any thoughts?  I am not a legal expert, so I know that this might seem very dumb, but I am at a loss.

Do not give ultimatiums it just makes things worse.

I am also in a similar situation.  This house is actually my house.  I have told my BF to leave many times.  I left once, but came back the next day.  However, my house is actually going to be taken away, in a few months I think.  This Tuesday, my BF will start probation and part of it is that we cannot be together.  Things happen for a reason.  The probation is due to his drinking and causing problems.

I am not sure what to do in your situation.  Maybe you can do a restraining order on him and the police will make him leave.  I agree, ultimatums do not work.
