I Have Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD)

I tend to be late almost everywhere I go.

Is anyone else with ADD late a good bit of the time? Usually it's only a few minutes but sometimes a lot more than that. It's been like that for the past 10 yrs. or so. My family and people I work with say they can count on me to be only marginally on time. Ugh I don't get in...

when they are alone in the house? I always do this. It's not something i have even thought about until now. It's really weird. I think i do it just to not have a bunch of different thoughts rushing through my head, but so i can have focus on the things i'm thinking about and...

but I didn't get treatment until I was 15. I take Vyvanse and I'll be switching to Adderall XR soon. Its a double edged sword. These meds do help me function and without them I don't know if I would still be in college. However, the come with a sh*t ton of side effects. I always...

    Dreamy ADD

I've got ADD without the 'H'. I'm not really hyper -- just easily distracted and with poor concentration. I love to daydream... especially when I'm supposed to b doing something boring. But I'm told I'm "impulsive" -- idk why I do stuff but if it seems like a good idea, I'll just...

My psychiatrist told me I have this.

It is because of anxiety. It isn't the same as ADHD. I don't get hyper. I will lose focus on something because I have too many thoughts. It doesn't mean I can't focus. That explains why I would daydream so much in school.
