Don't Be Scared; It's Only Going To Get Worse

I have not been to a dentist in over 9 years, until today! I am missing teeth, 4 in total. 2 upper molars on the top left side of my mouth and 2 lower molars consecutively next to each other on the lower right side of my mouth. The only missing tooth visible due to smiling is the...

I want to have 2 or 3 of my teeth pulled.

All located in the back of my mouth, so no one would really notice it, so I don't mind it. These teeth have been giving me issues for over a year, and are now slowly becoming painful. I do not want, and will most likely refuse root canal treatment, because I'm terrified of it...

My teeth aren't bad at all in terms of being

straight. I had braces for two years and that fixed how crooked they were. They're really stained now from all the damage I've done to them by vomiting so much. I don't like smiling with my teeth. I always cover my mouth when I laugh. I'm so lucky I don't suffer from bad breath...

I don't have any cavities or rotten teeth. However my top front teeth are yellowed due to years of smoking. I no longer smoke. This has effected my confidence greatly. My dentist wants to charge me over 5 thousand to put crowns on my front 7 teeth. I have worked the same job for...

For as long as I can remember my teeth have always been weak and they develop cavities and fall off piece by piece. I now have almost all my teeth out and Im only 28. I have learnt to talk with my mouth closed and laughing requires great skill not to have my teeth seen, mind you...

For as long as I can remember, and I'm only 19, so in comparison to some, not long; I have had problems with my teeth. My baby teeth where fine, strong and healthy, the only problem I had with them was I lost my last one when I was about 9...So they came and went relatively fast...

    Embarrassment?

I just wanted to ask the group if anyone feels like I do about going to my first dentist appointment to talk about getting these dentures and him seeing how horrendous my teeth are? Has anyone gone through this and experienced these feelings of fear, panic, and embarrassment?

    I don't necessarily have bad teeth .

I have a front Gap that I love . Maybe one day I'll get adult-braces or invisalign, but for right now I'm good. Straight teeth might take away my Southern Sexy.
