But the worst flight was the helicopter flight. I crashed my bicycle at speed out in the middle of the country so I was air-lifted to the big city Shock Trauma Center in a helicopter after an ambulance ride. But I was strapped to a back board looking up at the windows and could...

    ''A Surprise Ride On A Plane ''

I have been on a plane many times at least over 10 times, and my favorite part is all ways the take-off. This is so awesome, the feel of the pressure and rising at such a high speed. Out of all the plane trips I have had I will never forget this one.   I was on Delta Airlines...

i remember as a kid being sat in a cockpit with

the pilots.....times have changed somewhat...alas the food hasn't and it's rare that i taste airline food that's any good. Strangely peanuts seem to improve with altitude. Last week had the misfortune to have to take a 19h flight...just impossible to get comfy in a plane seat.

I always get a window seat so I can see outside of everything, and it's really amazing to see clouds from such a different perspective!

Kind of goes with the territory.

..if you know what I'm saying. "So Bob, how many hours do you have logged?" "Oh, about 12,000." "What kind of planes have you flown?" "Oh, I've never been in a plane." That would get a strange reaction.

One of my favorite parts about traveling long

distance is the airplane ride itself. Sure the airport and the boarding can be hectic, but there's just something about gliding over the world and all of its worries that makes one quietly content. :)
