I May Have To Go To The Emergency Room

I am dealing with severe eczema, really bad. I am feeling like I am itching everywhere. My body feels weird. Then my left side has been feeling numb lately. My body is extremely out of shape. But this rash don't help me, and I can't go to sleep, because my body is constantly...

When I was 35 days old,

I had to have surgery. My bowels were twisted 6 times.... Before the surgery, I had a 2% chance of survival.. I now consider myself lucky to be alive!!

since the past 4 days I'm in the hospital.

I passed out at school on Monday and since then I'm not well. The day before yesterday the fever was extremely high at around 106.7 my mom took me to the hospital and medication was started but the fever refused to go. In half an hour i got an asthma attack and was rushed to the...

Two months ago, my husband drove me to the

emergency ward, because I have been having trouble with shortness of breath. When I saw a male doctor he wasn't able to find out what was wrong with me. I explained to him this only happens after having a warm shower that I feel out of breath and dizzy. He said my only choice...

    A Scary Morning

I woke up this morning near 4:30 as I had a soar throat I asume it's what woke me up, a bad ***** throat that is. I could barely get water down my throat w/o feeling a sharp pain. I get frightening from time on keeping myself for stay in good health. This morning just swallowing...

    It absolutely and completely sucks.

Not only because of the injury to yourself or someone else but the casual attitude of those in charge. Their attitude seems to be that if you're still breathing then it is not an emergency.

A few times for kidney stones,

had to have surgery once because of that. I was also suffering appendicitis at the same time. Not that I would wish one or the other on someone, but you never want to experience that combination, trust me.

    Only Once

I have only ever been in the emergency room once in my life. I have been there fro other people a couple times but for myself only once. I had been there for depression. It wasnt too bad of an experience other than all the waiting.

I'm 14 and I can safely say I've had my fair

share of the ER! My first trip was when I was 11. I got struck by lightning while watching it on my front porch. It sorta staggered and struck me. When I got to the ER, my heart rate was incredibly high (165 beats per minute) so the doctors monitored me and kept me overnight. It...

    For an "emergency"...

, isn't it funny how long you wait in a waiting room before being put in another room to get again, wait......

I went to the emergency room once

but I didn't have to stay there. In a spectacularly stupid move, I managed to slam my toe in a door. Don't ask me how, I can't answer because I'm an idiot. Anyway it hurt really badly at first, then it started feeling better so I just went to bed. I woke up at 3:30 in the...

that I ended up in the hospital on our winter vacation. I was doped up on soo much morphine and on my way out of the ER? I fainted and got dragged right back in! Then at 2am we stop by some waffle house after being at the hospital and the worker lady was racist. !!! I was...

    Not a great experience

and too many memories and stress with it so I'm not going into detail with that with anyone. It was a difficult time for me. It gave me a lot to think about for myself and much much more. If I can't help some things at least I can improve myself. And that's what I try everyday...

    I went to the emergency

It's terrible when you're in the hospital

after having a bad seizure. I've been there several times because of having seizures and people calling 911 instead of just letting me have it and getting it out. I can't blame them though because it must be very scary to witness someone on the floor with their eyes rolled back...

    Last Year On September 30th

I was struck in a hit and run. I saw it coming, i knew i couldn't stop it, but i almost made it to the side.  I honestly believe that if i had been one step farther away,  i wouldn't be here now. I went to a small local hospital in my college town, and only one doctor was...

    Quite A Few Times

But for  physical reasons? I was trying to pull glass out of a frame of a picture of Marilyn Monroe that had fallen down off my wall. (Sorry Darwin). I cut my thumb pretty deep and had to have stitches. I also had that car accident in 1995 where I broke my foot bone. My...

A week ago today followed by three days in the

hospital and a hysterectomy woohoo. Before the procedure I told my boyfriend that all the pain I was going through was worth it to get the hysterectomy, I so lied, not worth it at all but it wasn't up to me anyway.

I remember when I was in middle school,

I was moving a stack of chairs, and the whole stack of eight, approximately 7lb chairs, fell right on my foot. My big toe was in pretty bad shape.

Because of what happened a year ago today,

I will never enter another freaking emergency room unless it is to support someone else. I am appalled by the way I was treated when I went there in hopes of receiving treatment for PTSD. I didn't feel like I was a human being. Instead I became a label. A number. A case of...

I have been to the emergancy room, or A&E as we call it, a few times but one of the most memorable times was when I was stung by a jellyfish! I was on a school holiday and we were body-boarding in Bude, on the coast of Cornwall. My foot was hurting me a lot so I walked onto the...
