    Many Times

I've taken several holidays in France, but it seems that all the time I was there I should have been looking for cold toast to go with my Nuttella.

    School Trips

I've been to France three times for adventure holidays. PGL trips. They were amazing. We were in a beautiful resort in the South of France (don't ask me which one, I don't remember). The surroundings were amazing. There was a beautiful river nearby where we went for our water...

    I'd Rathur Not Go!

Everywhere I go that is French has been a bad experience. First to Canada, PQ. Many times they pretend to not understand English. They all learn it in school. Then when I try to use a few French words, we got laughed at more than a few times. When I hear a visitor. here in the US...

    Zut Alors, Les Escargots!

I've been to France, and made some stuttering attempts to speak french, much to the consternation and despair of the French. Alas, it's only been in the company of my family, so I've yet to experience France as a truly grown adult. France, I suspect is a place that is well served...

J'ai Vecu La Pendant Cinq Ans

It was a while ago, mind you.  I went to France to work for two months late in 1979 and came back to England late in 1984.  I'd have been in France to this day if it hadn't been for my father's untimely death....  Je me sentais chez moi, en France.

    Maybe Had Enough...

I'd always wanted to go there, as I have some French heritage.  I never had the chance, then suddenly, within 6 months, I got to go twice!  The first time was for my husband's job.  We stayed for two weeks, in Toulouse.  It was wonderful, because the company...

    My Dream...

I fell in love with Paris the minute I stepped into the city. My dream is to live in the 18th arrondissement and soak in every bit of French culture I can. Shop at local cheese shops, fresh street markets, and sip wine at a cafe....A girl can dream can't she?

    Us Valor

When I was in the service I was stationed at Ramstein Air base, Germany from May 2001 to June 2004. As Ramstein is in the western part of Germany in the Rhineland-Phalz region, it was very easy to travel to many of the countries of western Europe in just a couple of hours...

    J'taime Paris.

I was always brilliant in French class, I had a French pen pal and I loved going to French restraunts so you could imagine my happiness when I was surprised with a trip to France for my 16th birthday. It was February so it was FREEZING and I was happily cuddled in my hotel bed...

    High In The Mountains

I went to the alps in 2007.. We were really high up in the mountains. Although we stayed in only a little village for 3 weeks I still loved it a lot. There was still lots of fun things to do like bowling and tennis and mini golf. We had to walk a lot and there were loads of hills...

France Is Nice, the French Make It Suck..

I have been to all the popular places, Beaune, Dijon, Vézelay, Strasbourg etc. The towns are nice. The architecture the food, quaintness. All that is taken away by the rudeness of it's people. For the most part if your american you are not welcome. No worries I hate them...

    The Typical And The Unexpected

I visited my brother at his b&b in Provence.

I offered to help him fix a stone wall on his property. He thanked me for the offer, and said he would get someone local, the Romans built it two thousands years ago.
