I Have Been to Therapy

Whether Physical or Mental, It Can Help 2,027 People

    They're Failures..

My parents decided I should go to therapy when I was thirteen, after they found out I was severely depressed and on the brink of suicide. I don't blame them for making me go; after all, what else could they have done? My first therapist lasted a few weeks. I just couldn't...

Therapists are a waste of my time, I have been to about 5 in my lifetime because my mom made me go. Each and every time It was just me sitting there with a stranger that was pretending to give a **** about my problems and then gives me half assed advice I've heard time and time...

    I can't remember why.

My parents had me go, a sort of "hey, we should try this". I didn't even really know what was happening, I was so young, maybe 7, even if that's not a very sketchy year for other's memory, I don't really remember anything at all before age 10. Anyway, I went with my dad most of...

    Problems With My Therapist.

I'm a high sensitive person and they also diagnosed me with a bipolar disorder a couple of years ago. This diagnoses was after I had a therapy for PTSD. I was doing okay for a couple of years, but last year I had a really tough year. A relationship which ended after 10 years, I...

The Problem With Therapy (in my opinion) -part

1 I’ve come to realize that therapy is horribly flawed. I can’t really blame the industry, however, because it was created by humankind after all. And humans will always be beautifully flawed.... yes, still beautiful, despite the fact that it creates pain. 1. Therapy is...

I'll be honest, I think talk therapy is bull.

I can't stand sitting in a room with someone who is getting paid and doesn't give a damn about my life or problems. I'd rather talk to people online about my problems than pay someone who doesn't care and can't change anything.
