    Been There, Done That.

In the mid-70's, I questioned my mental state. I had been married and divorced twice. I had been out of work for almost 2 years. The relationships were bad choices on my part, I knew that. Not being able to get a job was very depressing to me, though. I found myself in the...

Therapists are a waste of my time, I have been to about 5 in my lifetime because my mom made me go. Each and every time It was just me sitting there with a stranger that was pretending to give a **** about my problems and then gives me half assed advice I've heard time and time...

    At first it was good,

but now it's quite useless, 'cause I never feel like talking to my therapist about the things that truly bother me, so I keep it shallow and untruthful. Also, I'm terribly scared she'll misunderstand certain things about me, which could be incredibly hamrful.

I'll be honest, I think talk therapy is bull.

I can't stand sitting in a room with someone who is getting paid and doesn't give a damn about my life or problems. I'd rather talk to people online about my problems than pay someone who doesn't care and can't change anything.
