I Have Cried At Work

Personal Stories, Advice, and Support 393 People

When I was 16 I got sick at work

and was desperately trying to get ahold of my parents for a ride home, after multiple calls they never answered me so I called my grampa and I was so frustrated and exhausted that I broke out in tears in the booth while trying to ask for a ride home.

I was sick and I had to work the early shift at the gas station I worked at. I tried to talk to the manager about not coming in the night before but she was so grateful I was willing to work that Saturday morning and a nice older lady, I felt guilty and never...
