Yes, that is possible. The teacher refused to give me the grade I deserved, so I refused to do anything at all. I got a 18% for the year. I'm so proud of that. The lowest grade I ever got for an entire year.

I guess you can count it as failing. I withdrew from the class after the point in the semester where you automatically got a "withdraw pass" no matter what your grade. Unfortunately, I withdrew after that point and...
