    As A Kid

When I was around 10, I had a neighbor who had carpeted stairs in her house. When I would spend the night there, she and I would get pillows from the linen closet and "sled" down the stairs on them. It was really funny because there was a full-length mirror hanging at the...

    Me And My Crazy Sister

My sister and I used to do it a ton when we were little. We'd take the lids off some of the big plastic boxes we kept our toys in,and went zooming down the stairs to our rooms on them at high speeds. We got some bruises sometimes, and it wasn't the safest thing ever but we didn't...

    Using The Couch Cushions

My family moved into a brand new apartment. It wasnt an apartment building, but rather a 2 family apartment house. We rented out the 2nd floor apartment and our landlord lived in the apartment beneath us on the first floor. Unlike our previous apartment, this new one had carpeted...

    Childhood Fun!

As a little kid, age 7, my mother had bought us a band new color tv. She had saved up for a long while and asked my oldest brother to help her set it up. It came in a huge cardboard box, which my brother had folded. I thought the box looked like a sled, while folded...

    The Sleeping Bag!

I didn't get to sledding very often as a kid, BUT I had carpeted stairs and slept with a sleeping bag. Carpeted stairs + sleeping bag = ******* kickass fun. I rode down the stairs every damn day. It was soo much fun. But, the bottom of the stairs was tile and a metal door, and...

    Drunk Fun

    Sledding

I used to sled on the stairs outside my house when I was just a kid. My mom would come out and yell at me saying I could hurt myself. What did I care? I was having fun. This didn't change when I became a college student either. I lived in a...

    In Big Cardboard Boxes Hehe

It was a long, long time ago. Maybe ten years ago. Wow, now I feel old. There was a couple of big cardboard boxes at home, the type that little kids like to sit in or hide in. My elder brother had the bright idea of sliding down the stairs in one. I had a very bad feeling about...
