How Nice That There Is a Group For This!!!

I was diagnosed with Graves Disease about four years ago and had the radioactive iodine treatment. I hate the name "Graves Disease" because it sounds horribly dreadful and contagious, so I just tell people I have hyperactive thyroid disease. I am on a generic form of...

    Got diagnosed in 2005.

. Had my thyroid removed in 06. There's really no cure since it's an autoimmune disorder.. You can kill the thyroid or take it out. I opted to take it out. Have never felt normal since. Battles with weight, which I finally won.. But have good days and bad days..
