Hi all,

Having had therapy myself, I found the most helpful thing in therapy was that my therapist was understanding.

I am interested to know what others found helpful so much so I am now researching this very question.  Please click here to look at my short survey which has been given NHS approval.

Thanks

Wiggi

My mood: pretty cheerful

I have had psychotherapy.

In fact, in many ways, it is still on though I have resumed a life as ordinary of anyone else's.

Everything that was therapeutic, has helped immensely.

Not only has my aatitude and outlook changed, but also my perception has reformed majorly.

I would say that I have been taught many life-lessons through therapy, in the absence of which I was not able to cope up with myself, with others and with any and every activity.

I feel free.

Free from the boundations that were self-imposed;

Free from the persistent pain;

Free from vulnerability;

Free from a mental illness that was holding me down.

I got understanding and much more than that from my therapist.

It was difficult, painful too at times. But reaping its benefits today, I say its been worth it.
