I've had it about 5 times

and all 5 of them were terrifying. I usually don't see things when I have it though. I usually hear noises and it sends me in a panic and I would try to scream but nothing would come out, this happened 3 out of the 5 times. Once I woke up from a nightmare that I was going to be...

I've had these a lot for many years. The latest happened this morning. I wasn't very sleepy anymore since I had woke up early to go to work, but then didn't go because I felt sick. I had breakfast and went back to bed. I knew what was going to happen, but it was only 5:30 am so...

I'm in college right now, and it started when I was a sophomore, a little over two years ago.  The first time, I had no idea what was going on.  I think in the past that I could sometimes feel it coming on but when I felt it I would get uncomfortable so I would just get...

and share some experiences on sleep paralysis. Has anybody ever woken up in actual pain? Or had any near like sexual experiences? I know that might sound weird but I'm trying to find out as much as I can on this.

How to get out of sleep paralysis.

This site has eaten my post four times now before I could post it so I'm going to try to be very brief. To easily leave a frightening episode: Stop "pushing" against it. Don't struggle to move to break free. Let yourself drop back into a deeper sleep with the intent of then...
