Ok, this is probably the wimpiest surgery known

to mankind, but in the sixth grade I had a toothpick surgically removed from my arm. My sister pushed me over in the kitchen, I knocked over the toothpick holder thing on the way down and landed so that a toothpick went all the way into my arm, I couldn't see it and it was just...

    It Was An Experience!! :)

It was last year...right after Christmas...I had to have a cyst removed from my left breast...not a fun experience. I don't even want to talk about all of the awkward doctor visits before hand...Yikes!! :p Anyway...it was a very strange experience...it wasn't a big deal really...

I had a full hysterectomy two years ago at the

age of 29 without ever having the opportunity to have children. I have been sick ever since. I was told the surgery would change my life, and it did. I think loosing my ovaries was the worst mistake I have ever made in my life. We are always taught that big risks equal big...

I had my fifth surgery 2 weeks ago. I'm 20 years old and have a connective tissue disease. The disease causes my muscles and tendons not to work causing my joints to dislocate. I now have 18 surgical scars. My first surgery was two years ago and I had two shoulder surgeries that...

    I Did Not Assist

I like to joke a lot, so I told the doc I would try and stay awake during the gall bladder surgery to help out in any way I could. He smiled and thanked me. Honestly, I just didn't want to fall asleep and have some observer from the balcony observation deck above me in the...

    A Surgery Of Conceit

After having that horrific wreck, I had surgery. Only it wasn't the surgery you'd expect. I did have a brain injury, but I've never had any brain surgery. My surgery? It was plastic surgery. One of my eyelids was ripped off in the wreck and so it had to be reattached. My eye...
