I lived in the United States

for a couple years while I went to University. I didn't get a chance to really explore the country much, though. Visited Chicago, NYC, Atlanta, Jacksonville, couple different places in the East. Nice country, for the most part. Lots of different places, lots of different ways...

I've grown up in an international environment, just like many families who travel abroad and bring their families with them, it's all I've ever known. I was in Vietnam from when I was a year old until about two, I don't remember much except it was and still is a place where...

    Tokyo, Japan

Lived there for 3 years - it was quite different from North America for sure. Loved some things and didn't like others. I recently went back (last summer) and had a great time - visited the North which I had always wanted to do. Tokyo is still the crazy busy wild place it...

Yes, briefly when I was an exchange student I lived in Galicia, Spain. An exhilarating experience for a short while. It would be difficult to start over in a different contry, away from familiar grounds, I suppose, but the place I stayed at became my second home and at this point...

    Switzerland :)

I moved (due to my dads job) to switzerland just after my 9th birthday and eventually moved back when  was 11. My whole experience there  was pretty negative, but the country itself was nice. Unfortunately I think I was too young to appreciate it.

I lived in Papua New Guinea for almost 3 years, from 2000 to 2003. I have travelled all over the country, from the highlands to the coastal regions, to the islands, and the swamp lands. I lived on Pere Island off of Manus Island which is north of the mainland of PNG. The people...

I went to escape my life here, and it worked. It was fantastic, a carefree life. But I'm back now, and my problems are still here. :( only bigger now. BUT that's ok, because maybe some that Irish magic came home with me, and I am ready to face the problems, and move forward.

Growing up, I lived in Germany

I count myself so fortunate to have lived in another country and experienced another culture. It was the only way that I was able to appreciate the good and bad of my own culture.

    South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines

I love living in South Korea the most because of the weather, language, food, culture, people and technology. I don't like living in the Philippines because the weather is hot and humid all year round, not to mention other bad things in there.
