    I have physical scars

and mental scars the ones that stay with you forever and will never go away. They remind me of what I've been through. The physical ones remind me of how badly I delt with my emotional ones :(

    Life's Little Road Maps

Yes I have scars, many, many scars. Each scar on my body has a story. Each mar on my flesh is proof that life wasn't always kind. If you have problems with scars on a woman then you'll have problems with me. I've never tried to cover up my scars, never used cream to reduce them...

    Covered with them! Feet,

Ankles,Shins, Knees, Thighs, Waist, Buttocks, Abdomen, Back, Chest, Hands, Forearms, Shoulders, Neck, Chin, Both Eyes, Forehead...Internal Scar tissue in numerous places...... My heart is scarred for real. Still think the most damaging scars are the mental and emotional ones.

    My Scars

Yes, I have physical scars.  They are there to remind me of what has happened to my body.  They don't hurt.  They don't bother me at all.  They tell those who see them, I have lived.  It's the internal scars that hurt me the most.  They cannot be seen by looking at me...

    Been Through Hell

I have scars, and plenty of them. I got them while serving in the Army back in 2003. I was a medic, working with EOD (Explosive Ordinance Disposal) when a rocket propelled grenade struck the vehicle I was standing in front of and blew it up. I didn't realize just how hurt I was...

Just Another Day At The Office

I had a Nurse tell me in a hospital, God does not look you over for medals and ribbons, but for scars. The ones I have are a part of me and my youth. I don't try to hide any more from the public. Shrapnel does a devious dance to human flesh as they waltz together.

Mostly from me being an idiot

and self inflicting them. Scars do NOT show what a strong person you are. They show people that you're weak. I hate seeing all of those eating disorder/mental illness enthusiast teenage girls saying "Yeah, my scars make me a warrior" or "My body tells a story". No. This is so...

I'm a year & 11 days clean from self harm,

most of my scars are on my stomach, thighs, & chest, I stopped cutting on my wrist when I was 13, because of the attention it caused. Most of the scars are cuts, but some are cigarette burns. They're very deep & should've been stitched up, I could never bring myself to tell...

I feel like everyone has scars.

maybe not on their wrist, inner thighs, knees, stomach, or visible scars. But, on their hearts, souls, between the cracks and crevices of the little universe they've created inside them. -anonymous.
