    M.e. Is Becoming "me"

M.E. is becoming "me." Over the 9 years that I have suffered with ME/CFS more and more of my life, my identity, my personality and my existence has been chipped away at, lost to, or colonized by this illness. I now struggle to think of a single area in my life which is not in...

    Just Finding Out

I'm feeling so depressed. After reviewing my health cycles, I've just realised that I may have CFS. I haven't been myself since having glandular fever. I've been so tired. I always thought I just had a "weak immune system" but it's only today (after 3 years) I am facing...

    13 Years Experience ;)

None of the general 'disability' groups seemed appropriate, and my apologies for using the term 'CFS'- search engines always change M.E to 'Me', making it impossible to find ;) I caught Glandular Fever when I was 17 and never recovered. That is the short story; the long one is...

    My Daughter Too

My daughter found out a month ago that she also has CFS. This is of no surprise to me at all. I knew since she was a few months old. I had a feeling. She was pale and slept so much and wanted to sleep. The throat infections and yeast infections. The look of her. So much like me...

    Rainy Day

I was going to post this short bit in "I love the Rain" but I'm thinking it might fit this group better. I do love the sound of the rain, it's very relaxing. We've had weeks of sunshine here and it's lovely, bright, and makes my house plants and garden grow. It fills the house...

"I'm Sick and Tired of Being Sick and Tired"

I got diagnosed with M.E. when I was 12, now I'm 20yrs old and am still battling, or should that be living, with the illness and its repercussions. I don't know quite what to say here, over the years I seem to have mutated from a person who suffered ME into an ME sufferer, and...

I have had ME/CFS for about 4 years now.

I find it very hard to cope sometimes. I am looking for a pen-pal. Someone who will be willing to write letters or emails every once in a while:) I am located in the UK, South Wales.
