    Irving Roth

I met survivor Irving Roth at my school once. He would come to our school once in a while to tell his story, and he even has a book out called "Bondi's Brother". If you're interested in the holocaust, definetly give it a read. (Mr. Roth was asked by a student if he knew Elie...

    Humbling Experience

She was a customer. Her arm still showed the number tattoo. Amazing that despite so many killed, so many survived. Testament to human endurance. Humbling experience.

    He Never Spoke of It

When I was about twelve and was at a holiday family picnic, a distant "Great Uncle" (He wasn't an uncle but we called him that) rolled up his sleeves to play horseshoes exposing his prison camp tattoo.  I'd learned about the Holocaust in school, but seeing that...

    He Was Lovely
