Personal Stories, Advice, and Support 187 People

    Yes I Do

and it annoys the hell out of me. It seems like every single time I pick up a pen my handwriting changes, which can be so frustrating, especially as sometimes I have really nice handwriting and I would love to keep that, but it never happens again.

It just depends how I feel like writing. When I just write without putting any effort into it, its all messy and scribble like. I can write small, big, slanted.. all sorts of ways though.

    Handwritten expressions

It really depends how I feel and what I am doing. My dominant handwriting is very neat and exact, someone told me once it is as if written with a ruler. Then when I am agitated or just passionate about something I need to write, something important my usually upright handwriting...

    Cursive and Print

I almost always write in cursive, but I print when I fill out forms and stuff.  So those are my two handwritings.  I use cursive pretty much 90% of the time though.  It's much easier and quicker.

If I Have to Write Alot and Fast

like I do at work, it is usually quite messy, and my signature is practically illegible.  If I am writing a note to someone I try to make it as neat as possible.

I Change My Handwriting All the Time..

I'm still able to write the way I used to write when I was about 6 years old.. I got a really messy leaning kind of hand writing, that I mostly use for diary entries. I also have a clean, medium sized, and round one, that I use mostly for homework and essays. And there's another...

    Trouble At the DMV

I actually got in trouble at the DMV once for signing my name slightly differently on a form than on my ID. The man was really rude to me about it and made me feel like I was five getting scolded for doing something naughty. Geez.

When It Gets Unreadable, I Change It Again!

I keep discovering all these neat groups on EP where I discover there other people who do things where I thought I was the only one!  My favourite way to write is with a fountain pen with a medium nib.  I write in all different colours of ink to match my mood or my...

    Fast Or Slow

I can print sloppily and it looks like man writing. Then I can go really slow and make it girly. or I can do my sloppy cursive or my quick cursive. So I guess I have 4 types.

    I Am a Mood Writer

It depends to what mood I am in to what writing I use.  It can be tiny miniscule print to large flowing cursive.  It can be neat or messy.  In high school my teachers required a page of all my different styles so that they could verify that the work I was handing...

Years ago i realized differences in my writing when a teacher accused me of cheating because of an obvious change from one paragraph to the next. Since then I've continued to see variations when proofreading and I've noticed at least 5 styles ranging from small round letters to...

    Even My Signature Changes!

What would a handwriting expert say about my handwriting. Sometimes it is next and even or very small and and in print. Other times I can not even read what I wrote. Maybe an expert would say it is the handwriting of someone with multiple personalities! I do not have that mental...
