    My Morton's neuroma is

now gone... When I went on a ski trip with my family about eight years ago, I ended up in the ski shop because my foot hurt too much to ski. I thought that my boot was too tight and that was causing the burning pain and tingling in my foot. Luckily, my wife is a Pain Medicine...

    I Too Have Morton's Neuroma

On August 27,2010 as i was wiping my kitchen table I leaned on the bench in front of the table to reach the other side. I was bare foot. Upon standing back up straight I did not realize that I had tipped the bench too far forward, which meant that this bench had no where to go but...

    Miss My Life!

I've been having the foot pain now for about a year and recently was diagnosed with a M.N in my left foot, but also have similar pain in my right.  I feel like I woke up one day and had my life taken away due to foot pain.  That may seem a bit dramatic, but it's how I feel.  I...

    Treated Like I Am Stupid!

I am a regular walker. I walk miles for charity every year. Last year I began to experience what I thought was a corn under my middle toe. I tried to treat it at home with no success, so I went to see a private podiatrist who I have much respect for. He reckoned I had Morton's...

Chryo Surgery Was My Choice Of Treatment

I suffered from M.N. on my left foot for a few years until I couldn't stand it any longer. Saw a podiatrist who first suggested I use a metatarsal pad in my shoe which did nothing so the next step was a painful cortisone injection which did nothing so he tried another painful...

    Walking Stick

Ten years ago, when I was eight, I first noticed a stabbing pain in my right foot, I tried massaging it for a while, foot baths, creams and many more alike but the pain didn't stop until about a week later and I was relieved. I had been scared to tell my parents so I was glad it...

Wishing It Woud Just Go Away

I have had pain for more than a year. Just thought it was my shoes, not in my foot. Summer less pain as wearing sandals. This summer it didn't just go away like last summer. I have been going to Podiatrist for this along with being treated for plantar warts on the same foot. Had...

    Morton's Neuroma

I have had Morton's Neuroma in my right foot for a number of years now. It does not hurt all the time, just if I stand on my feet for a long period of time. I am a dancer so dancing over a long period of time also makes it hurt. I have found that shoes that have more...

    I Have A Double Morton's Neuroma

I went for ultrasound yesterday and they found I have MN between my 3rd and 4th toe and also between my 2nd and 3rd toe.  Is that unusual?  I had to have two very painful cortisone injections and now have a very sore foot.  Anyone else had a double MN?David

    Double MN For 2 Years

I first noticed my Morton's Neuroma in my left foot about 2 years ago now. I didn't realize what it was at first, just bought some new sneakers and figured it would go away. When I first saw an orthopedist, she gave me a cortisone shot that made it had to put weight on my foot...

    Relief At Last

I've had MN in my right foot for about seven years. I've tried orthodics (which helped), massage, chiropractric adjustment and electric stimulation. I've discarded all of my beautiful shoes and increased my shoe size by 1/2 with a wide toe per instructions from a podiatrist who...

Neuroma Di Morton... A French Disaster

I was admiring the lovely view of the Tour d'Eiffel when Morton's struck. A benign tumor. A thick nerve. I dropped to the french streets and began stroking my right foot. Those damn moccasins... As I massaged my toes I thought 'Sacre Bleu! My foot hurts!" Since I was a...
