    Darn Brothers

When I was little my Dad and my brothers would always seem to be able to complete them so I always assumed I would be able to when I was older, but two decades later, there it sits on a shelf in my closet, unsolved. It wasn't until a few months ago that my friend showed me that...

I Have Never Completed A Rubix Cube

I am not able to complete a rubix cube. When my friend got me one in my twelfth birthday, I couldn't solve it. Every time I turn the sections, another one is messed up. I am not good with complicated puzzles, and it screws me. I have failed at puzzles all my life, and the...

    Actually, No One Has..

Nope. It's all a myth, started by us wise guys. We actually keep virgin or unmixed-up ones hidden all around the house, under the sofa, under the bed, in the bath room, sometimes on our person. When guests come in, someones bound to be stupid enough to try to put the mixed up...

I Used to Break Them and Reassemble

I would turn one side slightly and then twist the oter way. That would make it start to break apart, then you can put it back together again. Thats how I got out of that mess.

    Two Minutes

I have never completed a Rubix Cube, but I did try once, it was the most aggravating two minutes I ever wasted.

    Not Yet, But I'm Gonna!

I haven't quite got the system down for solving the cube. my brother has the system down.. that show off! :P   all you people who claim to take the stickers off, it actually comes a part, the middle stays but all the other cubes come off. It's much easier to 'solve...

I did take all the stickers off my brothers and made it look like I completed it but don't think that counts. I also learned how to take them apart but getting them to snap back was not as easy as I expected.

    I Cheated

I took the stickers off and put them back on so the sides were all solid. Fooled my whole family, until I confessed over a year later. I was like 8 at the time.

It's sooo aggravating! I tried, but I could never get even one side aligned. I always had atleast 3 misplaced colours on a side, and then I feel like I'm getting close to it, but then...FAILLLL.

    I Just Get Confused :(

I used to play with my brother's rubix cube. He could complete it with his hands behind his back, so he never got mad when I messed it up. I couldn't complete it at all. Sitting there with this nearly completed cube in my hands was infinitely annoying to me...

    My Mum Has

Nope and I'll tell you why. Whilst I was reading a story to my mum (I was a kid at this time) she was fiddling around with my rubix cube. The whole time I was looking at the book so I thought she was trying to figure it out. Little did I know she had actually given up trying to...

    I Don't Get It

The tuba player in my high school marching band could scramble a cube and have it back to flush colors in less than 5 minutes.  There's no way in hell I can do that.  I don't understand--lol.  Is there a logic to it or what?

    We Used to Cheat

Reading icb4r's story reminded me of how, as kids, we used to fool people into thinking we'd completed a Rubix Cube by pulling off the stickers and putting them back on again, with each side of the cube being covered only in stickers of the same colour:D

    The Guy Next to Me

i went to a teacher's seminar/classes and this little semi cute bookworm teacher tried to use it as a pick up line. he solved the puzzle in a couple of minutes. it was cute and a little pathetic at the same time. two seminars later, i noticed that he was using it on another...

    2 Sides

I'd solve 2 sides of the cube then try to work on the other parts which would mess up the parts that were done. A while back someone I knew told me he knew how to solve it, he took mine, walked away for a few minutes then came back with it solved.  I don't know how he...

    Not Unless...

breaking them apart an re-assembling them counts. I recall sending away for "the solution' as a child of about eight and not knowing what to make of it. I wish that I still had it because looking back I wonder if I was taken for a ride or if I was just a bit to young to make...
