Hey, I'm Sally, I'm 20 years old and this is my story (English is not my first language so you'll have to forgive me for my mistakes)When I was 8 years old I started to touch walls, for two reasons:The first is because I was horrified by the thought that my worst nightmares will...

So today I spent half an hour in shoppers drug

mart fixing the nail polish section...just as I was about to leave I saw another thing out of place. It's so frustrating. It's not really the fact that I fixed it all and made it straight and stuff that bothered me the most...it's the intrusive thoughts that came across my mind...

    I just realized something I do that's a symptom

of OCD. I always thought like checking social media was normal. But, for me I don't think it's very normal, every minute I'm always obsessively checking fb, twitter, here etc. for notifications or messages. Like I don't check once or twice but like every chance I get or if I'm...

    OCD Is Ruining My Life.

where to begin... I started having ocd symptoms when I was 17, and one of my worst memories was around that time was when my mom was honking the horn outside, waiting for me in the car, but I couldn't close my bedroom door "right". I just closed the door over and over...

A lot of people confuse compulsive behavior

with being OCD, but obsessive and compulsive are two different things, although if you are obsessive you will probably be compulsive too. Obsessive behavior is characterized by intrusive thoughts that just happen, or despite people's efforts to resist them, control or ignore...

I'm trying my best to deal with this, without medication but I don't think that I can keep this up much longer. I keep picking my skin and poking things that hurt on my body. It is progressively getting worse and I have no idea what to do. Even though whenever I touch, poke, and...

OCD is not when some person sees something out

of place and says "UGH ITS OUT OF PLACE, I HAVE OCD". But of course, there are actually people with OCD who do get bothered by those things. OCD is not a 'cute' or 'funny' quirk. OCD is the feeling of complete loss of control over your mind and body. It's the feeling that...
