I Have Precognitive Dreams Forum & Chat Board | New and Confused

While it doesn't happen all the time, I find myself having the feeling of deja vu a lot. But unlike a lot of people I talk to, mine is of an extact, down to every detail, rememberance of something I experienced in a dream. The strange part is, rather the part that really confuses me, is that I don't remember the dream until I'm reliving the moment. That's when the dream comes flooding back to me, and I can even remember the exact night that I had the dream. When I explained this to a friend, I was told that, rather than have deja vu, I'm actually having precognitive dreams, and just don't remember them. 

Can anyone tell me if I'm just being paranoid and shouldn't read much into this 'ability'? Or, if it is true, can someone help me to either remember the dreams before it happens and, if possible, use this 'ability' when awake as well?
