I Have Severe Insomnia

I get, what, four hours of sleep

for every 24-hour period at most? I know why, it's because I don't stop thinking. Sometimes I don't even try. Sometimes I'll lie in bed staring at the ceiling for five to six hours straight, thinking. I lose my sense of time when I think. Suddenly it's 5am, and sometimes I'll...

It's all I want anymore. Just to sleep and forget about everyone for awhile. It's like, sleeping is my purgatory. Not exactly hell, but not exactly heaven.

None of the usual things have been working.

I'm so tired I even tried warm milk (sooo nasty not at all conducive to sleep). I look like a zombie, and I feel like I'm about to fall over. I need more than an hour a night. I need real sleep.

    I feel helpless. I get

so tired, so very tired, but I can't get to sleep. I am lucky to catch around 3 hours of sleep every now and then, but that's it. I have been suffering from this for quite a while now. To be completely honest, I have always had trouble sleeping, as a kid and a teenager as well...

    Yep... It's almost 4AM

and I haven't gotten any sleep since about... Two or three days ago? Yeah. I'm running on coffee now, if I wasn't before. I'm tired, but if I try to sleep, I can't, so screw it. ._.

I was diagnosed with chronic insomnia at the

age of 13. The longest I have gone without sleep is 6 days, I was 16. On day 6 I was taken to the ER and my parents were told that they had 24 hours to say goodbye unless by some miracle I fell asleep. By the grace of God in my life I did fall asleep with a heavy cocktail of...

I can't sleep again. You would think

that with the max dosage of sleeping pills I would be able to sleep. Guess its time for a new prescription, diet, and sleep routine. Fun.

It started about five years ago.

I get to sleep badly 3 hours per day. My brain is melting, my thoughts go everywhere. I write during this time and I read until my brain can't understand anything; then I stare at the ceiling or the window and start all over again. It's funny what insomnia does. You live...

I will go till my body shuts down.
