I have been pulling my hair out

for 6 years now and at first it only effected my self esteem and took up a lot of my time, but now I'm getting drunk bald spots, and scabs, and I just feel terrible about myself. I live in the country and I don't have the proper support to deal with it. Only 4 people in the...

I beat it! I did! I'm an 18 year old

that has reassurance for all you trichsters out there- reassurance that doesn't have anything to do with doctor's visits, meds, or CBT appointments. Hang in there, it's possible. Message me for those tricks :)

So it's summer and my hair is being all hot

and gross and obviously this means that it's prime pulling time (after being 1 1/2 year free) but I don't feel like I'm in a bad mood mentally so I don't understand why I'm pulling! It's so annoying!

I dont know why... But I always do my makeup

when i have urges to pull. It not only distracts my hands and concentration, but gives me practice and it makes me feel better about not having any eyelashes or brows :)

I started pulling my eyebrows out 4 years ago,

then once I had none left I started ripping out my eyelashes. I still have no eyelashes and eyebrows and I occasionally pull from the hair on my head too. I also have urges to pull other people's hair out especially if they have a hair that is out of place.

Anxiety is getting the best of me

and I'm unable to control. The only way to stop pulling is to make me disabled to pull. Making cuts on the tips of my fingers with a blade. This should work. I NEED TO SAVE MY HAIR.

for about 15 years, though I go through periods of time where I don't pull as much or don't pull at all. I started graduate school in June of last year and decided to get my master's degree done in one year. Well, I started with a full head of hair that I was so proud of and now...

I've been having troubles with my Trich lately.

I'm going to be blatantly honest here. I'm 14 years old. I suffer from Trichotillomania and I feel so overwhelmingly alone in this. I have no one to talk to about this. So here's my story. Please don't judge. It started when I was about 10. I was semi-obsessed with my hair. I...

since I was about 6 years old. I don't know exactly what triggered it, but it has greatly impacted my life. It hit the hardest when I was in the 4th grade. I was a little 9 year old girl with no eyebrows and only 5 eyelashes on each eye. I knew back then that it was wrong, but I...

    A Cured Hair Puller

Each thread of hair feels as soft as silk as I play with it with my fingers. I touch the root of one hair I have been dying to pull. I reach the root and dig my nails into the skin and there is a slight pop. I slowly part it from my head and feel a rush of relief. My...

So for the longest time I grew up pulling

mainly my lashes. Then it turned into pulling at my brows, too. Now I'm at the point where I've been able to grow more lashes than I've had in years but now I can't leave my brows alone. So sick of this imbalance. Anyone else have an experience similar to this??
