    I'm 27 and I've been pulling

since I was about 12. After years of not telling people, even though they noticed my lashes and brows were missing, I tried to tell my mum and she made it obvious that she didn't want to know, it made me feel even more alone. However recently I have been fighting the urge to...

I'm not sure when I started pulling

but I became aware of it when my dad asked me why I kept "playing" with my hair. I was about 12 or 13 at the time, and I believe it started with me just twisting my hair really tight until it started to hurt. After that, it developed into pulling a strands of hair out one-by-one...

I started pulling my eyebrows out 4 years ago,

then once I had none left I started ripping out my eyelashes. I still have no eyelashes and eyebrows and I occasionally pull from the hair on my head too. I also have urges to pull other people's hair out especially if they have a hair that is out of place.
