    Boy Is This One True!

Yep...and I know I am going to hear some agreement from those who know me on here!  I am guilty as charged on this one!!!! While having a good sense of humor is a wonderful thing and I think that my humor is one of my endearing qualities, it is also a great mask to hide behind...

How Would You Feel? Or What Would You Do?

Okay so Im new to this school, i made this friend. She said we'd be "best friends", she already had a bestfriend.. Later on i noticed she'd ask that to every one that was new and she liked or thought was cute. By being their best friend she would flirt cause she is a flirt. Now...

    Are You Alright?

My favourite question to answer. "Are you all right?" And my responce? "No, I'm half left". Only I give the game away. When I'm really not fine the responce switches to "I'm Fine." I think we all know that the phrase "I'm Fine" is the BIGGEST. LIE. EVER. In my case, It usually...

I Am Really Not As Happy As I Seem

Ask any of my friends and they'll say that I am one of the happiest, hyper people they know. This isn't true. Behind my fake smile and my stupid jokes, there's an emotional, sensitive person screaming to get out. I suffer from major depression and anxiety but no-one except my...

A lot of people tend to hide their emotions

behind faces. Well, I hide mine behind humour or a sweet person. I love to bring joy to people! To see their faces light up, to see happiness. I love to make a girl feel good and confident, a guy know his muscles make him look masculine. To make people feel good about themselves...

Freud stated that there is no

such thing as a joke. That we say things that are painful to us as a joke because it is easier to speak the truth that way. I find that to be true.

    no one takes me seriously

because I rarely express my true feelings. for some reason, I have the thought in the back of my head that people will hate me for expressing myself or not care about what I have to say. I've been trying to stop this but it's so hard because I have the habit of hiding my anger...

    Sarcasm

Yup the title pretty much says it all. If im angry at someone I usually will just say a rude comment with sarcasm so I can let it out without hurting the others feelings. I always have a smile on my face so noone will ask me whats wrong. I hate pity attention. That is the one...

It's Easier To Tell A Joke...

I'd rather make a witty response or cut a joke, or do something silly when I'm upset, especially when there's a computer between me and the other people, it's easy to type like a happy person and keep going than reveal I'm hurting or angry. I'd rather not dwell on it.

    A Very Good Way Too

Humour allows us to let out steam, relieve stress and also allow us to use it as a cloak. When you are emotionally drained, it takes a lot to hid it. Humour makes it easier to laugh which in turn hides what we are truly feeling inside. The false smile and laugh that does not...

It seems like an eternity that I've had a 'friends night'. My sister is actually having one right now. Her friends showed up to our house. I really have a lot in common with them, more than her anyways. My sisters friend, Kara, kept asking me if I was going as if she wanted...

That's not to say that all of my humour is masking something, I'd be a pretty messed up person if it was, but when I am upset, or angry, I make light of the situation. I'm not sure if I'm masking it so others can't notice, or if I'm just trying to distract myself. I guess it...
