    Over & Out

Never borrow money from a loved one.

Or even a 'liked'one Never lend a loved or liked one money. It gets messy, it gets terrible and it gets catty. It's bad. But if I ask for money, it'd be nice if you won't miss it. Because I'm bad at paying back. Hello, my name is Sam and I'm a borrowholic. I've been...

    Life's Demerit System

All married men will attest to some real wisdom in this....In the world of romance, one single rule applies:MAKE THE WOMAN HAPPY!  Do something she likes, and you get points.  Do something she dislikes, and points are subtracted.  You don't get any points for doing something...

    Near Miss

It's an elementary precaution - look both ways before crossing the street. My sarcastic pleadings for an unusual, news-making death - in a bout I recall the old addage, "Be careful what you wish for." Despite not really wishing for it, I nearly got it. I was walking in...

Nothing Is Ever Easy For Me

All the lessons I learn have been the hard way.  And the kicker is, when I try to share my experinces with others, I just get the "what do you know?" response.  It is like I'm Cassandra and no one beleives what I tell them even though it is true.  Oh well...

I held a double standard with someone I loved, playing games with him to ensure he truly cared about me. I am disgusted with myself. I presented myself as more witty and smart than I actually am, so he fell in love with a fraud.
