    Thank You, Momma.

I certainly did learn a lot from my mother, and much of my character (the good parts) comes from her. She worked very hard at being the best mother she could be, and the best woman she could be.  While she had her flaws, and while her marriage was rocky in later years, she...

the other day I was complaining how I can see

smile lines on my face (yes, I was feeling very self conscious that day, don't judge) from smiling too much. But then my mom said "but I think that they show that you have had a good life". Now I don't care about them anymore. :)

    Some Indelible Ones.

I learned a lot of things from my mother. She is a talented and amazing woman. Some of the things I learned from my mother are skills rich in tradition and heritage. Talents that in an instant world are fast disappearing. I sometimes take for granted that I can just pick up a...

I know it isn't much but I've decided to write and tell everything you mean to me. I was looking for an E-card online, something that you would like and that could get my point across but wasn't too mushy. It's a hard compromise to make, so I was like ''why not write". I was...

    God, What a Woman.

No words under heaven can describe what I learned from my mother.  She is the strongest person I know.  She lost both her parents to cancer, had a difficult marriage, had to deal with a juvenile delinquent child, endured a house fire and the death of her husband in his...

My mother and I have never been close. I've never sought her advice on anything important concerning my life, especially concerning boys. But I've lived with her for almost eighteen years now. I've silently watched her interactions with my father. My dad loves her, yes, but she's...

    Well ... Everything Actually

Growing up it was just my Mother and I since my parents divorced when I was about 3years old. Don't remember my Dad much and over the years since then have seen him only twice, at his request. My Mother was my mentor and friend. She always believed in me and and gave me her...
