I Like a Lot of It

I was always into the rock and metal bands; Motorhead, AC/DC etc. Also a lot of the more mainstream bands like U2 and REM (yep, they were going back in the 80s too!). And there were great Indie bands like The Smiths and The Cure. But of course I'm not going to admit that I ever...

My musical sources lie in the late sixties and early seventies. That's when Rock finally shook off it's blues roots and became Hard Rock. Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, those are the people who laid the foundations for what was later to become Heavy Metal. The early...

I love old music from the 80s.

Soft rock, classic rock and my all time favorite heavy metal hair bands. Hell yeah! I'm 22 and I don't care if I don't fit in because I don't listen to rap.

I Was Born and Raised In the 80's

My early childhood was all 80's. Almost all early music I was exposed to was 80's rock, new wave and techno. I love the "80's sound". A lot of the time it's almost a guilty pleasure, or at least not something to be proud of, but a lot of it actually is great stuff. I...

    My Love For Eighties Rock.

I have great love for the late seventies, eighties rock. Bands like AcDc are one of my favorite bands. Though I have never grew up in that era, the music is just so relaxing. It has a somewhat happy beat to it. The lyrics are more humorous then the later rock bands.

    Child Of The 80's

I was born in 1980. My mom was a metalhead. AC/DC, Cinderella, Metallica, Motley Crue, Guns N Roses, Ratt, Ozzy Osborn, etc, etc, etc. She wore leather pants and had bleached spiked 80's hair. She drove a Trans Am. She danced to Van Halen in our living room and worked out to...

    80's Teenager

I turned 10 in 81 so I remember hearing a lot of this music when it was new. I eventually became a fan of the 80's hair metal. I still love it to this day. Brings back a lot of good memories.

Who In Their Right Mind Doesn't?

Yes I admit I was not born when the music was actually produced, but that does not mean I cannot appreciate it just as much, or even more, than my mom can. Good music reaches beyond a specific age range, and this is very good music.
