I lived in the south as a girl and love to eat peas, greens and cornbread! We always grew our own greens. Not just mustard greens but collards, swiss chard and beet greens! I always consider this my comfort food. Also enjoy okra! That would make a complete southern meal!

    Heck Ya

My parents were raised in the country and this was a meal for us growing up.   Add a little vinegar to the greens and a glass of milk to break the cornbread into and I am good.  Sometimes I will eat just cornbread in milk for dinner.
