I Pretty Much Watch Only British Shows

Even though I live in the USA. I am originally from New Zealand and grew up watching shows from the UK. American TV shows are crap. I love britcoms and British Mysteries. I also love British stand up comedy and panel shows.

Some Of My Favorite British Shows

I live in Atlanta, Georgia and have lived here my whole life. I have never set foot in the U.K., but I am addicted to British TV. I watch BBC America now, but while I was growing up, I could only watch "Britcoms" and the like on my public broadcasting channel. My favorite British...

    Whites

I am so bad! I should be watching Luther so I can review it but yet again I got sidetracked by another show and at least this one is from the UK. Whites is a show about chefs and working in the restaurant industry. It's quite funny and I chose it on a hunch (and hulu was shoving...

I love British tv. well in all honesty,

I could watch the most boring show on BBC, and I'd love it because of the accent. I was watching some show about tumbleweeds on there last week. I couldn't tell you anything that was said on that show. I was concentrating on the accent

I do enjoy some of the British shows

that are shown on BBC America, and I wish that they would show more of them. They have too many repeats of Star Trek Next Gen that could be filled with other shows. When I am in Britain I try and catch what shows I can.

    Hilarious

Growing up, my dad had my watching Monty Python's Flying Circus and Fawlty Towers/ He got hooked on them growing up in the UK. And I am grateful he showed them to me. They are far superior to anything to come from the States or Canada in my opinion. The original Office, Extras...

    Down The Chimney

The boy's name was Tom Wake, and he was nine years old. And perhaps because the year was 1920, or perhaps because he was the sort of boy who liked to believe in things until there was a reason not to, he believed in Father Christmas. And so, on Christmas Eve, he found it hard to...

The Great British Baking Show - my family's

observations: 1. Me: my goodness the Swedish Princess cake is worth every penny you pay the baker. 2. Daughter: popularity of this show in Great Britain is proof that life must be boring there. 3. Husband/Son - couldn't be reached for comment.

    Gold

Gold TV does show the episodes of those time gone movies and sitcoms. Some Mother's do have 'em. Rising Damp, Steptoe and Son...are a few of the classics that I can watch over and over again. Only Fools and Horses - The king pin of them all.
