I think that cheerful sites bring everything it implies from happiness to joyful situations. It is unlike scary sites, with horrible stories and situations. Every site can be converted into a cheerful site, if the designer chooses to make it that way.
The "Diversions" section has so much great stuff. The cartoons are hilarious, the movie and music reviews are fantastic, and the poetry is out of the world. It changes every day, you really should check it out.
