I Like Classical Music

Harmonies and Counterpoints 944 People

    My favorite music is EDM,

Heavy Metal, and Classical/Instrumental for the most part and I really like classical. I would even like to learn to play the cello whenever I have money and time to do so

    I played flute for 8

or 9 years now and I really enjoy classical music. The latest song I've found that I really like is Lacrimaosa. I really like classic music with Latin lyrics. What's your favorite song?

    I Go To Concerts Alone

Few of my friends share my love for classical music. So, I go to concerts, sit alone, and enjoy the symphony Orchestra play the heavenly music in peace. Sometimes I wish I had someone to share the moment with but most of the time I'm just having to much fun to think about that...

I Am So Glad For Youtube

I was never a big fan of YouTube until very recently. Even when I started posting songs for Lee it still seemed to me to be full of music in which I had little or no interest. Somehow though I encountered a classical piece - perhaps an excerpt from Carmen - but as I was posting I...

Fur Elise By Beethoven - (beautiful Piano)

Someone once said, I don't know art, but I know what I like.  Well, I don't know classical music, but I know what *I* like.  And I like this piece.  It is one of my favorites.

Trained Classically But Enjoy Rockin' And Fiddlin' Too

My dad trained me (or abused me?) early to tolerate loud stadium speakers by putting my crib literally inches from his amplifier to train me to sleep in concert conditions.... well it worked.... and it caused some serious inner ear damage too (thanks Dad!). But, it paid off in...

    Strange But True

When I was a teenager my band teacher got me interested in classical music. It started out when he made us watch the movie Amadeus. Ever since then I was hooked. It's always interesting to see peoples reactions when I tell them that I like classical music. They take one look at...

The song Declaration of Love Alfred Schnittke

some may say is a little sadder than it needs to be for a declaration of love but I think it very accurately portrays how it feels. It reminds more of an unrequited love, that you are confessing. It hurts but there are bits of happiness that you were able to tell the one you...

I like listening to it when my other music just doesn't cut it. When I'm really calm, classical music is great but I listen to everything except for three or four genre's that just don't do it for me. <3 music.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - Piano Concerto No. 21

Some nights, I feel so relaxed and peaceful, as if nothing could bother me in the entire world.  I pour a glass of Sangiovese and I turn on music like this and begin to dream about another time. ~Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 21 performed by Netherlands Chamber Orchestra

    The Classic Composers

A few years ago I received this CD in the mail containing Mozart songs. It had a book to go with it. I liked the CD and decided to get more. Every three weeks I would receive two CDs in the mail. Eventually the collection went to 63 CDs of various composers from Vivaldi in...

Classical music speaks to my soul.

It reminds me of my own mortality. Listening to a requiem mass in a live concert is like an out of body experience. I once dated a violinist who played in a professional orchestra. It was such a wonderful experience listening to her make beautiful music. The romantic soul in me...

    Emotion Without Words

Music in one of its finer forms. Beautiful, simple yet intricately complex, and such a conveyor of emotion that certain pieces were banned long ago for fear of inciting unsolicited rushes of feelings that weren't exactly prudent for the time. It soothes me, and it moves me.
