Birds. Maybe that's what is wrong in the world.

When I fall asleep I plan on staying asleep, not waking up to a million chirping winged creatures. Not only am I awakened by them, they insist on keeping me awake. Do you hear me god? Birds were a mistake! SO TAKE THEM BACK!

    Decedant

I love the ability to go back to sleep after waking up - its so decedent - it means that I am either on holiday or its the weekend.  I love the ability to turn over, snuggle further under the blankets, turn the pillow over so that I have the cold side against my cheek... the...

    Seriously, the blanket is warm

and cozy. Right when I leave the bed I seem to get the feeling of north wind coming at me out of nowhere. I don't wanna waste the warmth of my bed :-(

Alarms And The Art Of Not Listening To Them

Or, better yet, the Art of Constantly Adjusting Them. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, my first class starts at noon. So what I do is set my alarm for 7 am. Alarm rings. Adjust to 7:15. Alarm rings. Adjust to 7:30. Alarm rings...and rinse and repeat until around 8:15. I could just...

Must Be What It Feels Like When You Ascend Into Heaven

One morning when I was in high school my alarm clock went off a little over one hour too early. I can't remember why that happened, only the vague recollection that it did. I hated waking up too early, since I couldn't relax enough to get back to sleep, knowing my alarm would...

    Zzzzzzz

Going back to sleep after waking up too early for work is a disaster! You fall back into a deep sleep and can barely get up. To top it off, your more tired all day then if you just got up in the first place!

    Snow Day

I saw as a kid when my schools name was called. I was nothing but in pure bliss to crawl under those warm sheets again and sleep away. Back then I had no bad dreams only hope for future. Sleep was a friend.

    Lazy Me...

Yes, after being awake for a few mins. I go back to sleep. During weekdays, when I wake up, I would check the time, ( thinking I can manage to get myself ready for work within just a few mins,), I'd close my eyes and sleep again. Well, I usually end up, late for my work (because...

    Sleeping At The Morning

I actually set my alarm on purpose a little bit earlier than the real time I should wake up at, it rings, I wake up and take a nap! Such an amazing feeling at the morning! I know this is weird, but it gives me pleasure to sleep after waking up plus I know myself that anytime I...

That's why my alarm is set 3 times at 15 min

intervals. First, to subconsciously dismiss. Second, to debate whether I have compelling reasons to wake up or excuses not to. Third, to panic.

I got a very bad habit of doing this.

.. and every time i do this i regret it as I wake up feeling crap, groggy and it affects me all day long! But i don't know what it is... the alarm goes off and so i slightly wake up looking at the time and switch the alarm off then got that nice warm sleepy feeling so i go to...

Oh Snooze. How I Love You...

I actually regularly set two alarms - one to wake me up initially that I can turn off and one to get up to. So if I have to be up at 7:30am say, then my first alarm goes off at 7:00 and my second at 7:30 (or sometimes 7:25, so I can get that one last snooze in)

Middle Of The Night For Me...

I suppose most people are up or at least about to be up. Prepare for work. Happy that it's Friday. Some of us got paid, others must wait. While you early worker bees are getting the day started, it's the middle of the night for me. I have a later work schedule to accommodate the...

    Sometimes It's Even Preplanned

It's not unusual for me to set half a dozen alarms for myself to wake up. Part of that is due to how much trouble I have waking in the morning, but part of it isn't. I like to use a few seconds of wakefulness while still in the grasp of sleep to encourage vividity in my dreams...

    The Warmth Of My Bed...

There's nothing better than waking up on a cold day to your alarm clock going off for the 15th time that morning. You hit the snooze button one more time, flip your pillow over to the cold side, find that cozy warm spot in your bed and fall back to asleep for 9 more minutes of...
