A lot of the time my mother will question

why I am not wearing socks. It is because I don't feel like my feet need socks

I hate shoes. I hate wearing shoes I hate

shopping for shoes. Yes I'm a woman who hates shoes. If I could be barefoot all day everyday I would be. The days I have to go into the office I wear my shoes long enough to walk inside then they come off. I've always been that way since I was a kid. I can't help it.

    I seriously hate shoes.

I wish I could go without shoes 24/7. I guess that's what happens when you're from Alabama :)

The feeling of being barefoot is amazing.

Not only is it relaxing and feels good on its own as you let your feet breathe, but you have a better sense of the world. The grass under my toes, the sand stuck to the bottom of my feet, the pavement I walk on. There's something so tribal about it, yet it's a great way to...

    I go barefoot everyday,

everywhere. Ive allways enjoyed being shoeless, and for about the last 3 years i have been a full time barefooter. I love they way all the textures and temperatures feel on my soles. Like going from really hot pavement into a store with cold tile. At first i would notice odd...

    The No Shoe Zone

Until a few days ago, I ran a home office of an expanding and contracting nature. We grew and shrank and grew again, similar to the girth of a middle aged woman I guess. On Monday we moved to a regular-ish space. This office has been active for four years almost and in that...

    I don't mind wearing shoes,

but find myself barefoot as much as possible. There was no active thought process involved. Really didn't realize I was doing it until I saw this group and thought about how long I had been that way.

I know; this is a bit more of a flip flop story

(but wearing flip flops is nearly like going barefoot. So much so that it bogles my mind as to why taking the next step, going completly barefoot, is such a big deal to most people). Anyway, bare feet and flip flops are contagious. I have noticed this over the course of time. I...

    Shoes Are Awful

i am barefoot almost 100% of the time, and have been since i was a child in California.  even in the hippie days of the 60's.  i'm 54 now, and still barefoot.  i even had a nerve injury in my foot (not because i was barefoot), and i still go barefoot, even though...

I don't know why or what it is but i love being barefoot. I hate socks, they just get sweaty and i don't like that. It is not something i planned on, but i just kept going barefoot more and more and love it. It's just the norm now.

    Barefoot Farming

You would not immediately equate going barefoot with farm life I suppose, especially if the farm in question has livestock like ours does. There are serious concerns regarding hook worm, ring worm and other parasites that could easily be transferred through the lack of shoes, and...

    Barefoot; For My Husband

I enjoy going barefoot, but mostly it is because it is something my husband loves, and I love to please him...and I guess...tease him. I try not to go barefoot too often as I don't want it to get complacent for him, but here is a partial list of some of the places I love to go...

i love the cold feeling of the marble of the kitchen floor and the smooth feeling of the TV room. It''s awesome. Carpets are even better ;) But I can't stand being barefoot outside. The grass always tickles my feet and makes them itch, and standing on asphalt is painful in my...

The other week I bought a new pair of sandals

but they did not fit well and I ended up with severe blisters which took 2 weeks to heal.I am barefoot most of the time at home and I think this has helped with the healing. But If is not possible to be naked, having bare feet does help and also feels sexy.
