    Barefoot Farming

You would not immediately equate going barefoot with farm life I suppose, especially if the farm in question has livestock like ours does. There are serious concerns regarding hook worm, ring worm and other parasites that could easily be transferred through the lack of shoes, and...

I love going barefoot - walking,

running, grass, beach, wherever. If it's raining, so much the better. The weird thing is that I hated it as a kid. Not sure exactly when that changed.

I play in a local badminton ladder.

One night I forgot to bring non-marking training shoes and was refused access to the gym. Faced with the prospect of having to drive all the way back home, I just took off my shoes and socks and played in bare feet. Now I don't bother bringing special shoes - it is easier and...

Last weekend we had an early taste of spring,

with temperatures getting into the upper 50s on Saturday. This was after a stretch of relatively mild weather so much of the snow had melted off. So I took advantage of it on Saturday, going out & walking barefoot. There were people in shorts, & a lot of people wearing...

The feeling of being barefoot is amazing.

Not only is it relaxing and feels good on its own as you let your feet breathe, but you have a better sense of the world. The grass under my toes, the sand stuck to the bottom of my feet, the pavement I walk on. There's something so tribal about it, yet it's a great way to...

    Barefoot; For My Husband

I enjoy going barefoot, but mostly it is because it is something my husband loves, and I love to please him...and I guess...tease him. I try not to go barefoot too often as I don't want it to get complacent for him, but here is a partial list of some of the places I love to go...

I've been walking around the train station

and shops barefoot today, had been wearing cheap flip flops with my jeans. I dared myself to just leave them on the train and go barefoot. Filthy soles as you can see.

    Family, friends, food,

    I enjoy being barefoot.

I drive and live barefoot as much as possible. It's winter here now, and the snow has begun to fly, but I'm still walking outside while barefoot.

    The No Shoe Zone

Until a few days ago, I ran a home office of an expanding and contracting nature. We grew and shrank and grew again, similar to the girth of a middle aged woman I guess. On Monday we moved to a regular-ish space. This office has been active for four years almost and in that...

I hate shoes. I hate wearing shoes I hate

shopping for shoes. Yes I'm a woman who hates shoes. If I could be barefoot all day everyday I would be. The days I have to go into the office I wear my shoes long enough to walk inside then they come off. I've always been that way since I was a kid. I can't help it.

Walking barefoot, that's the best feeling ever.

Every walk now it reminds of the walk in the childhood - the dusty windy time, the after rain time, the sunny day time, the morning time. Everything is just perfect back then. And I miss it.

    Broken And Barefoot

    Shoes Are Awful

i am barefoot almost 100% of the time, and have been since i was a child in California.  even in the hippie days of the 60's.  i'm 54 now, and still barefoot.  i even had a nerve injury in my foot (not because i was barefoot), and i still go barefoot, even though...

Given the choice, I would always choose to walk

around barefoot instead of dealing with shoes and socks. Why would you rather keep your feet trapped in warm shoes when you could stay comfortable and bare? I love feeling the coolness between my toes, and shoes prevent that. Not much is more relaxing after a long day at work...

I don't know why or what it is but i love being barefoot. I hate socks, they just get sweaty and i don't like that. It is not something i planned on, but i just kept going barefoot more and more and love it. It's just the norm now.

In the summer it's possible to go barefoot

everywhere if you want to. Yes, you have to watch against dog doings but you can be shoeless, maybe carry flip flops if you need them. Oh if only it would warm up a little more from this almost wintry weather!

So I was thinking of inviting my friend around

on Thursday. Since he doesn't live far away, I was thinking of walking there barefoot and not bothering to bring shoes. My excuse to him would either be 'I couldn't be bothered to put them on' or 'There wasn't much point, it isn't far'. What do you guys think?
