    I think the first historical

even that interested me was the period known as the Black Death. @1347 I remember maybe seeing a documentary on it when I was maybe 9/10. Around that time I think the BBC were showing a drama about modern day Britain if the same thing had happened today. (The survivors...

History is awesome. One of the key words in

life is "Remember". Remembering allows us to learn from mistakes, it allows us to relive moments and it is full of richness. If you like the past come say hi.

I don't know how some people claim to dislike

history. Everything we do is history related - everything we say, wear, eat or see is history related. I love it - read it, study it, and write it when I can

I think history is the thread

that unites the generations. Your family and national histories are part of your being. You cannot escape your history as it is part of your identity, and you are it's product.

    Actually I don't like history.

In fact a lot of it sickens me. Here's some of my countries history.Germany was slow to win a place in the sun but quick to turn it into a hell on earth. Bismark long opposed the acquisition of tropical colonies, arguing that they were a luxury the Fatherland could not afford...

The 9th April 1940 was a dark day in Danish

history..The day Germany took over Denmark. I saw a movie yesterday that made me realize how terrifying it must have been. 20:35 came the message that the German forces had surrendered. But the Danes only won because we got help from England. I know there's more to the story...

    Love!

I used to hate history in middle school and the beginning of high school. Probably because I had bad and rude history teachers that seemed to isolate and try to humiliate me. Needless to say I didn't get the best grades on my history tests. Until 10th grade history came around. I...

History Is Not About The Past

Faulkner said that the past is not dead. It isn't even the past.  He is more right than ever today. Interpretations of facts are always subject to the biases of the interpreter.  This is not new, Julius Caesar's history of the Gauls is less than objective.  In fact his...
