"Blue" was part of the soundtrack of my youth. I was sixteen or seventeen when I first heard the album Blue and the first lines of the first track grabbed me - "I am on a lonely road and I am traveling, .... looking for something what can it be?"
But I think, aside from the Beatles, she's the best singer/songwriter to have come along in the last 40 years. I think she even eclipses Bob Dylan.
Maybe Dylan even agrees with this assessment. Apparently he wrote 'Tangled up in Blue' as a response to her...
