    Obsessive Devotion Latin Lyrics

Fortuna exprimitur artibus falsis. Et mendacem memorem esse oportet. Adoratio permanebit. Quotiens me eges, adero. Venia ad vitam aeternam. Non mihi, non tibi, sed nobis. Fortuna mutua coniuncti. Per tota saecula futura. Venia ad vitam aeternam.

    Ego Laeta Est

I took 3 semesters of Latin in college, and I would have continued learning it, but I dropped out and moved home. I severely miss it. I feel like I've pretty much forgotten all of it. I wish more schools offered Latin. It's so much fun, and so interesting. My favorite sentence...

Latin - My Second Foreign Language

Born in 1939, it was normal for me to choose English as my first foreign language. When it came to the second to choose, I think I was influenced by my family, since my mother's eldest brother had written his PhD all in Latin. Well... I started learning this 'dead' language...

    The Best Language In School

I got into Latin because I was in choir, and we sang a lot of old Catholic music.  That, and I had this perverse fear that theoretically at any point I could be swallowed up by a wormhole and flung anywhere in space or time, and it seemed like Latin would be my best choice...
