Okay so here's a question: If your school work

counts for 100% of your grade, but is divided into two semesters worth 40% each and a final test worth 20%, what grade will you have to get on the final test if you made an 80 in the first semester and a 75 in the other to get at least a 70 average?

I have always liked math, i guess it's something you born with. But also think that it has something to do with the teachers you have at a young ages.

    Just A Beginner.

I was almost thinking I didn't want to post into this, just because of all the other posts I had read. I am not too experienced, but I am learning a lot and I really do enjoy it. I entered college about a year ago, having to start at the very bottom, working my way up. I am in...

    Math Is a Wonderful Thing...

I love math because (if you're good at it) you do it, and it's done. It's objective, and you can just cross it off. As long as you understand it, which I usually do, you can just do it like a machine. I feel so accomplished and smart when I do math. It's the only thing I'm good...

    I found logarithms, rational expressions,

and conics very interesting this year. Math is art. Seriously; I've considered framing some of my math assignments done by hand. Math is never boring! I think my TI-84 Plus Silver Edition is my beat friend to be honest. Hehe.

Open questions. A lot of people do not realize

that mathematics is filled with questions that nobody has yet been able to answer. Most of those are very complicated and abstract, but here is one that is easy to understand. It is called Goldbach's conjecture. In the 18th century, Goldbach noticed that every even number...

    Math

math is my fav subject in school,  mostly because its very cut-and-dry. 2+2 will ALWAYS equal 4. Also, math can reach anybody. You don't have to speak the same language to understand the same math problems. I really enjoy trig and geometry, which will hopefully help me when...
