Can't Help Myself, I Have To Watch Certain Ones....

Alfred Hitchcock "The Birds" I can't turn it off! "Jaw's" is another one. The list goes on and on. The first movies I watched in a theater was "Little Big Man" I was probably too young to have seen it, never the less, It's always been one of my all time favorites.

    Black and White

I love to just sit down and watch them. There's almost something sad about them all for some reason? I know it sounds crazy...either way I love just sitting down and listening to the music and reading along :)

    Four Daughters (1938)

One of my favourite old movies of all time. My aunt saw it in the theatre as a teenager. She told me that Jeffrey Lynn was touted as the next new heartthrob, but from those first scenes of John Garfield's character playing the piano, there was magic. My aunt said that while Lynn...

    Old Movies And Simpler Times

I think part of the enchantment with old movies is that there were clear morals and there was real magic.  Maybe the special effects weren't as great but the actors and actresses had to carry it then.  Not that I don't love recent movies too...I do.  But there...

    I Lean Towards the Romantics

Its a silly ideal, or so I'm told, but I love the sweet ones. It seems things were less complicated, although sometimes a bit boring:) However the men were gallant and brave and gentlemen and movies were made for entertainment, they weren't entirely realistic. I feel, for the...
