    Mom had a tale for everything ..drop a knife , someone is talking about you. When a cat closes both eyes..a cute blink..he is kissing you.Laugh in the morning and you'll cry at night.

    Butter and New Pets:

    I was once told that when ever you get a new puppy or kitten - before you let it outside for the first time you should rub butter on the bottom of it’s paws. Supposedly if the new pet goes too far it will find it’s way back because of the butter. Cheers!

    An Old Wife's Tale Can Keep You Warm

      Hello! Last fall I knew it was going to be a long cold winter because of an old  wife's tale. Which is - if evergreen trees produce lots of cones and drop them early it will be a long cold winter. So I made sure I had lots of firewood. Cheers!
