    Like Isn't Strong Enough

Words can't describe what Pearl Jam mean to me. I am broken inside and after years and years of being broken, you really need to fix yourself. I don't know how to do this. But I do know how to end this. But when I listen to them, I feel alive.

It was at a show in the early 2000's. Merriweather Post Pavilion. Sonic Youth was to be the opening act for PJ. Due to an emergency they were unable to play. Eddie came on stage with an acoustic guitar. One light shined down on him as he started to play. He went on to do a raw...

    I Remember 1991

Music was changing and I started high school. That was when I really started getting into music and it hasn't changed any since. The first ever CD I got was Pearl Jam "vs.". They aren't bad now, but I miss the old days of Pearl Jam. "State of Love and Trust"...

Pearl Jam released their first album when I was just starting high school. I got very into them by the time I was in college. I remember right after Kurt Cobain killed himself I would play the Vitalogy album and fall asleep to it. But the best Pearl Jam experience of my entire...

The Band That Changed My Life

PJ was the turning point for music in my life. They put out the album Ten when I was in 8th grade, and everything changed. I went from listening to "hair bands" to music that had exciting beats and hooks and some of the best lyrics I have ever heard. And every album after Ten...

Makes Me Yearn For My Teen Years

Pearl Jam changed the face of music for me.  I was a teeny-bopper, pop fan until I heard "Ten".  That album, along with Vs. thankfully opened my eyes and rescued me from certain doom.  Not to mention that this band is also one of the sexiest alternative...
