    Great Author

I am addicted to this author. His books are filled with suspense and a very fast read. With two kids it is hard to find time to read lately but when I have the opportunity I can't put the book down after I have started it. My favorite is the Odd Thomas series and The Voice of the...

The First Dean Koontz Novel I Ever Read Was Phantoms In 1983.

Does anyone remember that one of his from way back? It scared the crap out of me and I loved every minute of it and was hooked ever since. This was way back when he used his middle initial. Dean R. Koontz. I think I might have read every thing hes ever written since then or close...

I don't read a lot. I don't really know why, reading is a great experience. I really do like it, but I guess I find other things to do instead. Dean Koontz is my favorite author though. His writing is just awesome. It sucks me in so quick! I think my favorite...

An Endorsement For The Frankenstein Series

There are books for different occasions. Leading sort of a -- for lack of a better word -- varied lifestyle, my occasions are different from a lot of people's. I have found for example, that good jail reading is not necessarily good bathroom reading. When you're in the bathroom...

    My Favourites

I have read all of his books and I have two favourites - Strangers and Cold Fire. Loved both of them. Funny, a lot of people are talking about the Odd Thomas books and am not sure why but I didnt enjoy them as much as I usually do his books.

    Just Scary Enough

Dean Koontz has long been one of my favorite authors. He's just scary enough to give me shivers...without a side of nightmares. And unlike some other really prolific writers, Koontz' work is consistently very high quality.  He's good at his craft; descriptive without falling...

The Watchers Book Is His Best!

I absolutely loved this book!  Maybe the fact that I had golden retrievers at the time made me like it even more, but it was a GREAT story!  Too bad it made me nervous about going out to the corrals at night to check on the cattle and horses--I had to bring the dogs...

    My Favorite...

Dean Koontz books are the first two in the Frankenstein series. I really enjoyed them. I couldn't put them down, and I'm beside myself, trying to be patient and wait for the third one to come out! Odd Thomas rocked my socks off, too.

    Life Expectancy

Life Expectancy is my favorite book of his, next to Odd Thomas. If you have never read it, I would definitely recommend it. It shows his charachters' comedic genius, and they are so loveable, like always. The Odd Thomas series is also brilliant! He brings a positive new edge to...

Too Descriptive For My Tatstes Though..

I like his books(well the few I have read) but he just is too descriptive for me.  To me it felt like there was little left to imagination but thats my opinion. I did enjoy the topics though. :)  Odd Thomas was good.
