A MotherI was sitting in a cafe in Innsbruck,

Austria, when a little girl walking with her mother started crying. Looking closely, the girl was kneeling in front of a semi melted scoop of ice cream on the floor, one hand holding an empty cone and the other cupping the melting ball desperately trying to stop it from slipping...

I recently forgot my email password.

My security question (set many years ago) was "What do you want to be when you grow up?" I'm unable to recollect my original answer... I wonder how many others lost their way; and whether they ever found their way back to their dream.

Misguided Quest Who would've thought I could

change the world? What about the parrot? Yes, I admit it-the world we now live in is my fault...though the parrot isn't without blame either. It has been 3 1/2 months since my birthday. For my present, I had gotten a parrot. Yes, a parrot. You know those little winged beasts...

    Story of a girl - "I Married a Stranger.

The last thing I saw was my alarm clock

flashing 12:07 before she pushed her long rotting nails through my chest, her other hand muffling my screams . I sat bolt upright , relieved it was only a dream, but as i saw my alarm clock read 12:06, I heard my closet door creak open .

    Attention Deficiency

I rarely have the focus to read long novels anymore, sadly. I love short story collections because I can read one story, then put it down and go do something else with a sense that I completed something. lol
