At home, if we have special occasions, I serve RED WINE for our guests. Its great to drink with them while talking, laughing and many conversations. I also love to drink with my loved ones and friends. In the ministry, our pastor and his wife like to drink it too. Let us say...I...

I Live In South Australia...wine Country,

It's hard to describe how good it feels to taste that perfect drop of red wine. Not exactly orgasmic, but close. I am going to start a catalogue of my favourites, For starters, I highly recommend Grant Burge Cab Sav Merlot 2007.

There Are Wines Especial To Me.

I like a light red wine as an every day kind of wine, leaving fuller-bodied wines for more special occasions. Obviously, coming from the south of France I do like the quintessential reds from Provence and the Languedoc, and Roussillon. Gigondas is a favourite, from the Rhone...

I was sitting at my desk,

reached out for my nice full glass of red wine, over-reached and knocked it flying. Red wine went flying all over the desk and the computer. Though the carpet remained unscathed, I managed to get it all down the wall. Now I need to repaint. Such a tragic waste.

    Teenagers don't often drink wine,

we often start with beer or somethin. But wine was the first alcoholic beverage I drank, and I still prefer a good glass of red wine with some grapes, biscuits, and cheese, rather than a glass of beer. I'm a little more cultured than expected...

    Big Reds

I love big red wines.  Not the soft blends that are popular but heavy a cabernet or merlot.Molly Dooker is one of my favorites along with a less expensive Cupcake Cabernet.  I love a good Port as well.  All of Cockburn's ports are excellent.

    Why I Like Red Wine

I like red wine because it tells a story.  About the grapes, the sun and the rain, the soil.  About the winemaker, and what they think a wine should be, and who they think will drink it, what they will drink it with. When I have a glass of red wine with my meal at...

I Enjoy It But I'm Not A Wine Snob

The best way to enjoy a bottle of red wine is toopen it and allow it to breathe, if it does not look like it's breathing give itmouth to mouth resuscitation.

I've never really tasted wine... I would love to go to somewhere like a wine region with great fresh food, old winery buildings that can be explored with someone who enjoys a nice day out and could teach me :-)

apparently entirely unsophisticated. I've never had a bottle that cost more than $20 that I could finish. Barefoot Sweet Red I could drink by the gallon, though. LOL
