The Left has its own variety of anti-Science.

Where the Right denies global warming and insists on Creationism, the Left thinks food supplements have no side effects, feels nuclear plants are more dangerous to our health than coal fire plants, and wants labels on genetically modified food despite the lack of evidence that...

Thanks to science, there's portal guns!

Wait, Portal wasn't based on true events? But GLaDOS! And Potatoes! I'll just go curl up in a ball and cry. I'd eat cake but alas, it is a lie.

It is what I do. I never really wanted to work

in any other field. Right now, I do research on organic solar cells and teach physics. This is almost not even work. I am lucky that my work is what I like.

    True Evolution

We used to look to the gods for answers. We now look to science for answers. When science discovers god we may all get some peace.

I always enjoyed scientific articles about the causes and effects of our environment on our health. Although science isn't my field of expertise, I pay attention to what I feel are the right things to focus on. Good nutrition, proper rest and exercise have been my way of staying...

The only problem is I dropped out of school.

It would be nice to explore science with others again.

    Having recently seen The Martian,

it got me thinking about how we could terraform Mars to make it more earth-like. My idea follows as such; get enough asteroids to form a satellite roughly 1/4 of the mass of Mars, and place it in orbit around the planet. The gravity from that satellite would create tidal effects...
