I Like Serene and Quiet Places

I wish I had enough money to buy a piece of

quiet. Monday looms and, once again, the loudness of the necessary looms. A still piece of time, where I can enjoy simple thought (without interruption). Is that too much to ask?

Wasn't sure where to post this

but just wanted to post that I really like this website. Really chilled out compared to fb and twitter and other places. Feels like people just hostile all the time over on those sites. Much more chilled out here, in my experience at least.

I often escape into the woods.

It's peaceful, it's quiet. I enjoy the time to myself, away from people. Nature is beautiful. The trees dance with the breeze, the birds sing, and the stream rushes along. I feel complete when I'm alone in the woods, like I'm where I belong. It clears my mind, eases my pain, and...

Sometimes I like to sit by graves,

there no one will disturb me if they think I'm mourning over the loss of someone. Sometimes I go into the church near them and sit on one the benches at the back, when no one is there and just think. I don't want to be disturbed, not even seen, therefore the least liked places...

An opportunity for me to think,

to clear my mind, reflect. Sometimes in these places, I don't even wanna think. I just want the beauty of it all to control me & my emotions. A place of solute.

A good place to sit and just be.

No thoughts. No worries about the day. No regrets. Just being. To feel, for that short time, a way to be close to the infinite. For me it's to be closer to God. To feel his presence and see his creation. To be in the peace and to finally just... Be still.

I love to get out of the town,

somewhere quiet. Where I can't hear the buzzing of chatter or cars. The aura of stress is left behind. Replaced by chirping of birds, the whispers of the river and the whimsical hum of the wind. Among the trees where I don't have to deal with dull daily situations. There is no...

Many years ago, I spent a great deal of time in

You find them when you lose yourself.

I find it when I look at the sky. It reminds me of a detailed painting that changes its tones every now and then. Its calming, don't worry about the other noise block it out (unless your in a situation where you need to concentrate) Try it yourself and let me know.

It's why I bought a place WAY out in the

country, surrounded by forests. It's where I go to 'get away' from it all and just meditate. My dog sniffs and prowls, but she never goes too far away, and always responds immediately. That's why I love German Shepard's. So easy to train. So devoted. Katt
